LECIP HOLDINGS CORPORATION (Motosu-City, Gifu, Japan, President Makoto Sugimoto) was awarded the contract to supply and install data transmitters by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore on 19 March 2013 at a contract price above S$7,000,000.

The transmitters will be installed on buses and will enhance the collection of real time bus information such as location and bus speeds to facilitate resource planning for buses.

This system has a function to transmit information such as bus location and vehicle speed from the transmitter to the server via mobile network.

LECIP has already delivered fare boxes, tickets issuers, LED destination signs for Singapore buses. LTA selected LECIP for its broad experience, technology and high product quality.
